I won tickets to a game at a fundraising raffle event that my wife dragged me to. Now I’m thankful that she did. I took a buddy of mine – we used to play the game together back in the day but neither of us had been to a professional game live so we were really excited for this experience. We had an early dinner at the Brazen Head Irish Pub – awesome homecooked comfort food with a huge beer selection. My friend is a beer snob and was impressed. We took the tram to Liberty Village did a little walking which was easy with everything being so close in proximity. At the field, access was easy with plenty of clean restrooms, concessions, roomy concourse, and our seats were great – not that we spent much time in them. We were in a pretty hyped up fan section which was fun (and loud). I’m not sure which was more exhilarating – the game itself or the people around us. Needless to say, the next time my wife drags me to a fundraiser, if tickets to another Toronto FC game are on the table, I’m all over it!
