Delphi has some of the best food in town – the Greek restaurant brings people in from far and wide and with specialities such as Calamari and their twist on the classic Souvlaki it’s easy to see why. The free Ouzo shots are another reason to go.
Padelle d’Italia is arguably the best Italian restaurant in town. They serve everything you can imagine, from quality pasta and pizza to delicate antipasti! If you are feeling rather indulgent – go for pasta cooed in the parmesan wheel – you won’t regret it.
CoDung might not have the most attractive name in the world but it’s array of Asian food and flavours makes up for it. Choose from some of the best sushi in the city, or some flavourful Vietnamese dishes. Maybe you want the crunch of Tempura, or the creaminess of a Thai Curry? It’s all here for you.
If you just need a snack before a game, there is “Burger King” and “KFC” about 800m from the stadium. Another option could be “s’Gärtla” to have some quick dishes, this place is usually pretty busy before a game, especially filled up with home fans.
For a rather nice dinner I highly recommend “Duck & Curry – Thai Restaurant” which is also about 800m from the venue. The Thai food there is simply amazing.
A bit further away (1.5km), but as amazing as the place mentioned before is “Bienenheim”. Especially their seafood is really great.
There isn’t a great deal to do around the stadium and the food options are a little sparse, but there is a hidden gem in the nearby allotments. Gaststätte Zeppelinfeld is a short distance from the ground but remains concealed, but if you find it then expect to be presented with a classically Bavarian menu of sausages, potato salad and plenty of beer. Especially if the sun is shining, this is the place to go.
