The stadium is a bit too far out of town to walk, and a taxi could cost you between €15-20 for a taxi. Luckily, the city has provided some very convenient ways of getting to the match. Convenient and free if you have a match ticket!
Shuttle buses leave from the Central Bus Station every 10 minutes and take you straight to the ground – they also offer a return service up to two hours after the final whistle.
You can also catch the normal city buses 21 and 51 from the bus station and the Town Hall – again for free up to 4 hours before and after the match! The journey shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes.
Car: The stadium is easy to access via the highway A9, either coming from Munich or Nuremberg, Get off at the exit “Ingolstadt-Süd” and get on “Manchinger Straße” towards the industrial park. After going straight for about 2km you will soon see the signs guiding you towards the various parking lots near the arena.
Bus: The operating bus lines 21, 51 and 52 will take you right to the stadium. On match days these lines are being supported by an additional shuttle service (202) starting at “Ingolstadt bus station”. For guest fans arriving by train there is line 201 operating from Central Station, going every 20 minutes.
This is the Audi Sportpark in Ingolstadt, the world headquarters of Audi, so arrival by car is easy. Surprisingly for the world headquarters of Audi, parking is relatively cheap at €5.
If you’re arriving from the A9 autobahn, just follow the football signs and then the parking signs. Public transport is straightforward: take buses 21, 51 or 52 from the city centre, while there is also a shuttle bus system on match days from the central bus station that comes free with your match ticket.
